Located in the Northshore area, I guide moms on their journey of healing, breaking generational cycles, and making the most of motherhood.
I’m Angele.
I’m a mom of 3 kids, a clinical psychologist, motherhood coach, circle facilitator, and certified mindfulness meditation teacher.
I help moms navigate the sometimes bumpy and rocky road of motherhood.
Has motherhood been everything you hoped it would be… or has it had some pitfalls and challenges you never anticipated?
Do you ever feel torn and confused by what seems like conflicting thoughts and feelings about motherhood?
Are you exhausting yourself trying to meet everyone’s expectations of SuperMom (including your own), but it feels like you never quite get there?
Maybe you’re pushing yourself so hard to be a good—or even perfect—mom that you eventually reach a breaking point, overwhelmed by anger or resentment. But the last thing you want is to become that ‘Angry Mom,’ so guilt sets in, leaving you feeling down and disappointed in yourself…
Maybe there’s a part of you that feels bored by the incessant mundane tasks and Groundhog Day of early motherhood - you’re missing more stimulating adult conversation.
Maybe a part of you feels unsatisfied or disappointed by motherhood, and then guilt for having these ambivalent feelings and thoughts (that you probably don’t dare say out loud).
You might find some aspects of motherhood so challenging that you turn to food or alcohol to cope, often falling into the familiar pattern of ‘Mom Wine Culture.’
You might wonder why you can’t just feel grateful all of the time, because of course, I know you love your kids.
You might think there’s something wrong with you…telling yourself: ‘Maybe I’m failing at this motherhood gig…?!’
I’m here to tell you it’s OK if you don’t enjoy all of it.
I’m here to tell you that all of these thoughts and feelings are normal. They are not pathological, and they do NOT mean you aren’t a good mom.
It makes perfect sense that you have different feelings and thoughts about motherhood.
Trust me, nothing is wrong with you.
I’m here to tell you why you feel this way sometimes and what you can do to make motherhood a journey of growth, meaningful connection, and profound transformation - instead of white-knuckling through till they go off to college!
2 things guided me from a place of self-blame, shame, and unhappiness in motherhood to a deeper understanding of myself, my relationship with my kids, and my true needs. I discovered a pathway to healing and personal growth that I never thought possible.
Matrescence
If you're a mom - you are in matrescence.
Learning about matrescence was life-changing for me.
Hearing the experiences of women from around the world, seeing moms share their voices on social media, and listening to podcasts on motherhood it’s becoming unavoidably clear: becoming a mother propels a woman into a complex, nuanced, and often unnamed process that resonates through her life.
Coined in the 70’s by anthropologist Dana Raphael, just like adolescence, matrescence is a process of becoming - It is a transformation of identity that shapes every dimension of a woman’s life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
What helped me most in understanding matrescence and offered me a map through the many pitfalls and triggers that left me feeling stuck, inadequate, and alone in motherhood, was the psychotherapeutic model of healing known as INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS).
IFS is an evidence-based model for healing and personal growth that is the most effective, powerful, and transformational of the many different therapeutic modalities I studied in my 10+ years in clinical psychology.

I am here for you.
If motherhood hasn’t quite been the purely joyous journey you thought it would be, and you’d like to find a way to feel more joy, happiness, and harmony in motherhood, I am here for you.
I’ve found an effective map that keeps me aligned with the mom I want to be (and it’s a continued practice, because parenting is HARD and it’s not a one and done kinda thing!).
I’d love to support you on your journey and help you fully embrace and enjoy being a mom and find the clarity you seek along your journey of matrescence.
